Terms of Service
The rules for using Neutrality. They cover your account, payments, how your licence works, what gets you banned and the marketplace.
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Neutrality Corp ("we", "us"). They cover the Neutrality website, dashboard, client software, marketplace and support. By creating an account or using any of these, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Neutrality.
Who can use Neutrality
- You must be 18 or older.
- Access is by approval. We review every access request and can turn one down without giving a reason.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be shared, sold, transferred or given away.
- You can't use Neutrality if we've banned you before, including through a new account.
Your account
You're responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password and two-factor codes to yourself, and tell us straight away at legal@neutrality.cc if you think someone else has access. Staff will never ask for your password or sign-in codes.
Payments and subscription time
- Subscriptions are sold as time on your account. We accept Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC), and WolvPay processes the payments.
- Time is credited once the full payment is confirmed on the blockchain. If a payment arrives short, contact support before you send anything more.
- Prices can change, but a change never affects time you've already paid for.
- All sales are final. Crypto payments can't be reversed, and we don't refund unused time, time lost to a ban, or time on an account you close, except where the law requires a refund.
- Subscription time has no cash value. You can't withdraw it, exchange it for money or move it to another account, except by buying marketplace items as described below.
Your licence to the software
While your account is in good standing and has time on it, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Neutrality client on one device. You don't own the software, and we can end this licence as described under Enforcement.
Your licence is tied to the device you first sign in from. If you replace hardware, ask support for a hardware ID reset. Staff grant resets case by case, and you aren't entitled to one.
What you must not do
You must not:
- share, lend, rent, resell or give anyone else access to your account, licence or client
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, dump, crack or modify the client, or help anyone else do so
- spoof, mask or randomise hardware identifiers, or otherwise get around licence enforcement, device binding or bans
- tamper with, intercept, replay or forge the client's connection to our servers
- create more than one account, or use another account to get around a ban
- redistribute the client, its builds or anything it downloads from us
- publish or share our private documentation or other content that's only available to approved users
- attack, overload, scrape or probe our servers or other users' accounts
- harass staff or other users, or misuse support and appeals
- upload anything to the marketplace or support tickets that is malicious, stolen, illegal, or contains other people's personal data
Enforcement
If we believe you've broken these terms, we can suspend or ban your account, devices and licences without notice. Some bans are issued automatically by our licence enforcement systems, and staff review them afterwards. How that works is described in the Privacy Policy.
When you're banned:
- you lose access to the client, the dashboard and the marketplace
- any remaining subscription time, marketplace items and licences are forfeited, with no refund
- we may also ban any account linked to the same device, payment or Discord account
If you think a ban is wrong, email appeals@neutrality.cc from the address on your account. Staff review every appeal. Their decision is final.
Marketplace
- Creators can list plugins and profiles they made. By listing something you confirm it's your own work, and you give us permission to host it, show it and deliver it to buyers. You stay responsible for what you publish.
- Prices are in subscription hours. When you buy an item, the price moves from your time balance to the creator's. Earned time follows the same rules as any other time, so it has no cash value and can't be withdrawn.
- Buying or receiving a gift gives you a licence, not ownership. You can use plugins and make copies of profiles for yourself, but you can't list, sell or gift a licence or anything made from it.
- We can remove any listing or item at any time, for example if it breaks these terms or stops working. We don't refund purchases of removed items unless we decide to.
- Plugins run on your machine. Only install items you trust. We review reports, but we don't check every item before it's listed.
Games and third-party services
Neutrality is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Valve, Counter-Strike 2, or any other game, publisher or anti-cheat provider.
Using third-party software with a game may break that game's terms of service. The publisher may suspend or ban your game account, and that includes any items, skins or purchases tied to it. We don't guarantee that Neutrality will go undetected, and we aren't responsible for any action a game publisher takes against you. You use Neutrality at your own risk.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Neutrality running, but we don't promise it'll always be available, error free or compatible with every game update. We can change, pause or remove features, and we can take the service down for maintenance or after a game update. Downtime doesn't entitle you to refunds or extra time, but we may add time at our discretion.
Disclaimers
Neutrality is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost game accounts, items or profits. In any case, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing legal@neutrality.cc or opening a support ticket. Unused subscription time isn't refunded. What we keep afterwards, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: country or state]. Disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them locally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and we'll tell you about significant changes by email or with a dashboard notice before they take effect. If you keep using Neutrality after that, you accept the new terms.
